Metta Transformer Microphone to Amp / Impedance Matching Device
$140.00 AUD
Housed in a small, lightweight enclosure this device allows the user to convert a low impedance signal (such as a piezo pickup or microphone) to a high impedance signal (such as a guitar pickup) in order to be used with effect pedals, amplifiers, and recording devices.
The benefits of matching the impedance of microphones or piezo transducer pickups are evident when amplifying acoustic instruments and drums in order to get a more balanced amount of mids and bass without having to use excessive gain which is notorious for unwanted noise and feedback.
Transformer specifically designed for audio microphone impedance matching, Housed in a mu-metal can to protect from unwanted hum and noise.
Mic / Low impedance - 600 Ohm 1/4" Unbalanced Mono In/Out Lo-Z
Amp / High impedance - 10k Ohm 1/4" Unbalanced Mono In/Out Hi-Z
This is a passive device that requires no batteries or electricity to work.
Rugged powder coated aluminium enclosure with hand inlaid graphic.
Designed and built by hand in Brisbane, Australia.
